We are a Southern Baptist Church with deep doctrinal convictions which come directly from the Word of God.  We believe the Bible to be the divinely, inspired, inerrant Word of a sovereign and omnipotent God.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who is willing to save anyone and everyone who comes to Him in repentance and faith. We believe Jesus died for the sins of the whole world, not for just the few. Highlands Baptist Church is a Traditional Southern Baptist Church in soteriology. HBC fully supports the 1963 and 2000 Baptist Faith & Message. 

Highlands is a Bible teaching church. Pastor Tim believes true growth in the faith can only happen when there is a deep understanding of God's Word. Pastor Tim teaches expositionally, verse by verse, through the Bible as well as topically and evangelistically. 

Highlands is an evangelistic church. Every ministry and outreach of HBC exists to share the love of Christ and His salvation for all. We endeavor to care for the community around us and to meet the needs of those God leads us to.
